Wine Cork Hot Pan Plate

Here I made a Hot Pan Plate out of wire, glass beads, and wine corks. I used a drill to drill holes into the corks (actually below is a picture of Jack drilling the holes for me because the drill wasn't drilling steady and he did it better then me) I just add the beads on the wire in between each corks and then bind the wire together. It is something that you can hang up as a decorative piece in your kitchen near your stove and have handy when you need to set your hot pan on your counter.

Crochet Hats for my nieces

I just recently learned how to crochet hats, here are a couple I made for my nieces for Christmas. I used a basic crochet hat pattern I found on http://www.raverly.com/ thanks to my friend Lindy for sharing this awesome website. The hat pattern states its for a toddler but they come out kid size (I'll post pictures with my nieces wearing them after Christmas) I used a G size hook for their hats but loved the pattern so much that I wanted to make it adult size so I just used a bigger size hook and it came out perfect (I'll be posting more hats after Christmas) I got the patches from Michaels, the owl patch wont stay attached so I will need to sew it on. I can't wait to see their faces, they put hats on their Christmas list so I'm sure they will love them!
